I bought a used Vita from Gamestop a few years ago and it came with a third party cable which just couldn't connect my Vita to the PC. It will charge it, but I had to connect the Vita via bluetooth to transfer anything. This cable actually works and my computer recognizes the Vita. The small analog stick also covers the range with a nice bonus, as standard analog sticks don't really offer enough grip. However, as mentioned in other reviews, it fits well. It enters smoothly enough but can be stubborn when trying to pull it out.
