When I put it on my iPhone, the ring didn't rotate easily, I had to make an effort to rotate the ring to where it was comfortable for me. After a month I assumed it would weaken, but it hasn't. For some this might be a good thing because it doesn't spin easily in your hand, but for others not so much because if you're constantly changing grips on the phone it's going to be a bit of a one-handed twisting Fight.
