This is a good deck for beginners. This is a tapered deck, so even without the markers on the back you can still have fun and pull off a lot of tricks with this deck. The markers on the map are difficult to see and will take some work and getting used to, but that's the way it should be, you don't want them to be noticeable! If your eyesight isn't what it used to be (like mine!) you may have a harder time seeing the markers on the maps. The only downside to the deck is the quality of the cards, they're made out of regular card stock (not like bike cards) and if you use them a lot they probably won't stand up to heavy use. Other than that, this is a good practice deck and fun to practice with. I would probably buy it again to give as a gift or to use as a training tool.
