Advantages: Very quick and easy assembly. You can probably do it even without direction. Took me about 10-15 minutes to assemble it plus about 10 minutes to fully level it. Thanks to its small footprint, you can easily set it up almost anywhere. Pretty attractive for a scratching post. Solid wood platforms. and due to the relatively low weight (tubes made of hollow cardboard), wood is not difficult to unbalance. This is especially true if you buy a bag and decide to put it somewhere upstairs. My cats knocked it over twice in the space of a month, no matter how hard I tried to tighten the ceiling support and how long I spent trying to get the stand perfectly vertical. I will attach it to the wall before the restoration. Part of the sisal rope came loose after about 2 weeks.
