I was going for an 80’s vibe for my 40th birthday and this skirt delivered! The color was perfect and the pick ups made it full and fun. I’m 5’2 and ordered a medium and had to get it tailored since I didn’t want the train to drag on the ground. I also took advice from other reviews and trimmed the lining straight across so you wouldn’t see it in the back. That made a HUGE difference. One thing I didn’t like was the look of the waist band. Becuase it’s elastic (great for putting on but not visually pleasing) I got some fabric from Jo Anne’s and used it like a sash or a belt. It made the waist line look cleaner and sleeker. I got tons of compliments and would definitely order again!
