Hmm - I like them better with socks than without. can be easily altered by cutting a notch at the top if it protrudes past the top of the foot. seems a little tight - you can trim it and then sew the raw edges together with some black thread. Like a healing band, stretches nicely - I think it might be good for my mum who has swollen feet - except for the narrow spot at the top. The fabric is really very thin material. Not sure if they hang around in slippers but go and get chain shoes. a bit strange is that the red athletic line is only on the outside of the shoe and not on the inside. Would I buy again - not sure - As well as throwing away the shoes you might get at the hotel. more like ballet flats.
