I am disappointed with these wire strippers. It had to be adjusted several times to properly strip the wire. Out of the box, he didn't expose the wires at all. Simply slide along the wire. After the right adjustment, it really banged. But the handles would stick and not return to the closed position after each wire stripping. A real pain when making multiple cable strips. Especially when the wire stripper just slipped along the wire and didn't tear the wire, but damaged it. I tested this one against one of my old ones. The old ones worked perfectly every time, this new one was hit or miss. I do not recommend this. Try a different brand.
