Overall this camera does what it was designed to do. After much research and study, I bought this camera for my boyfriend to record his rides on his motorcycle. There are definitely more expensive action cams out there with even more features, but the Drift Ghost 4K seems to have all the necessary features for action gear. He has already used this camera on 3 trips and was pleasantly surprised by the quality, stability and ease of use! the functions we used. IMAGE: The picture quality is really great so we were VERY pleased to see such a clear and bright picture. The only small issue is that the camera can only be mounted vertically (on the side of your helmet or combat gear). It doesn't rotate, so you can't mount it on top of your helmet - otherwise the picture will be on the side. MIC: As with other versatile cameras, the built-in microphone isn't the best. It picks up wind, noise and hiss (due to movement) and makes your voice seem far away. The great thing, however, is that the Drift Ghost 4K comes with an EXTERNAL microphone that can be helmet mounted (or attached to a jacket). This ensures audio is crisp and directional, saving you countless hours of editing later! BATTERY: The battery life is amazing! It really is enough for the whole trip and more. The longest ride so far was 6.5 hours and we had no problems. This is probably one of the BEST features, competing with more expensive competitors. SIZE: The perfect size and clean look makes this camera easy to fit into your gear or equipment. We're actually quite surprised that something so small has an angled view and the camera that captures it. Also, it's VERY stable and doesn't stutter, so it really adapts to your action needs. APP: The idea behind the app is excellent. However, the app lags a bit, but still works enough to ensure the camera is properly installed and images/videos are loaded for later use. Let's hope they release an update or a new app that fixes the lag and pause times. ** Its waterproof design protects us from inclement weather so we can enjoy the ride and document everything on camera for later review. Overall we're very happy with the Drift Ghost 4K - we love that we can buy another one and tie it together for front and back views. Plus so many other features we have yet to test. We will keep adding our feedback as we use this camera for all kinds of fun activities!
