Bass/Middle Range - No Tinnitus

I wanted a really rich, full sound in my car without the horrible hum of the dual 12" in the trunk. I went down this route when I was in high school, but now I prefer a more balanced sound. My setup consists of an Alpine CDA-9835 main unit (connected directly to the battery) operating in three-way mode sending a total of 52W RMS to each component.I have a set of Polk DB6501 -Speakers installed in my front doors I have these Pyramid W64 in the back doors and all the doors have special MDF baffles I feed them from a Blaupunkt EMA 255 I have the amp's high pass filter on to only pass frequencies above 80kHz speaker It means they go down to 60hz but i usually only send them 80hz and above that i have a low cut filter installed on my main unit W64 at 200 Hz These speakers reproduce 80-200 Hz effectively in my setup in the rear doors. The front stage of the B6501 reproduces from 150 Hz to 20 kHz. This keeps most of the soundstage up front while still giving a 'feel' for the low frequencies filling the car. These speakers really fit the bill. They sound very clean and for the price I paid I really didn't expect them to sound that good. They give you a nice, clean butt without blowing my ears out. Live concert music sounds absolutely fantastic on this system and these W64s really prove it with their great response. Don't buy a hundred dollar acoustic from a well-known brand. Save your money and grab these hidden gems. EDIT: I've had these speakers for about three months now and I have to say that after popping them they sound AMAZING! I turned up the bass boost on the amp that works with these speakers and these two 6.5 inch in door speakers seriously sound like I'm using a 10 inch subwoofer in the trunk of my car. The amazing part? I'm not losing any cargo space, but I still have that awesome sound. These things absolutely knock on my doors, but they're not intrusive enough to upset my stomach (like loud 12-inch subwoofers do). Live music has incredibly rich bass and it never ceases to amaze me that I got these speakers so cheaply. The only thing I'm worried about at the moment is blowing up the MDF pads I made for them !
