I was not only pleased but genuinely surprised at how well this new build plate works. The original magnetic surface that came with the Ender5 is good, but I wanted to try switching to a glass platform. So when I found this glass platter for less than $17 (and I think $13 for a new magnetic platter) I had a hard time taking the risk. Pros: very easy installation, flat surface, good adhesion. Arrived quickly, well packaged in a box and two layers of foam. And as soon as the plate cools, the parts come off easily. Minuses:. I opted for slightly smaller black binder clips than the brass clips that came with the new build plate. But that's just personal preference, nothing wrong with what was included.
