This porch light is bright and works reasonably well as it emits light, but it doesn't seem to work very well when left on for hours. On the second use, the two bottom right rows of LEDs stopped working. It looks like a short has occurred as they don't have the usual flickering of cheap LEDs that have overheated. Unfortunately the return window is closed. If you are looking for high quality LED patio lights, I would suggest etrailer. That's what I usually do and I wish I had this product.

Great replacement for my old camper. You need to connect or use an existing cord splicer and it will work just fine! Make sure you have the "tape sealer" that is given out on RVs to place around the siding. I think I made new screw holes in the aluminum that didn't make much of a difference. Hail cracked the lenses of our original incandescent bulbs, so I decided to replace them with these, one on and the other off. They are very bright, appear well made, but do not work in the installed position. When connected directly to the battery, the old light and the two new ones work perfectly. The product description states that this light is sealed but not waterproof. There is an open hole on the back for the power wires to enter the light board, and the board itself does not have a sealed case. The tabbed lens is not water/moisture resistant. It obviously won't do that. The light sheet does not have the appearance of a gasket material around the LEDs that would prevent direct moisture access to them. One of the things that struck me was the temperature of the bulbs. Works cool. It doesn't take the same toll on battery life in my camper as hotter lightbulbs that melt the plastic inside. These lines are significantly more versatile than your original light, but look the same and work much better. I am very happy with their brightness and the fact that they come with different lenses. They're not as waterproof as you might think, but they're the same as the originals because they're LED and I have no intention of ever opening them.
