We expect this model to make a significant profit at $40. The frame isn't exactly wood - it looks and feels like chipboard wrapped in some sort of black plastic coating, and plastic is used on the front rather than glass. The back is held in place with the little flexible pieces of metal you usually find on cheap frames, so you can't manipulate the image too much before they start falling off. It's more like something a college kid would use to classify a dorm room than a framework for someone to fit actual art into. Very disappointing. If it was cheaper we'd understand, but this isn't a $40 frame.
