Growing up, my grandmother ALWAYS had Tervis mugs. That's all she drank from. She had the same 8 glasses she would drink in my whole life - they had hummingbirds in them :) . When she passed away this fall, I spontaneously bought my first cup of Tervis just to feel close to her. and it sounds silly but it really made me feel closer to her. I'm a sea person and squid are one of my favorite sea creatures. I love this mug and it's all I drink at home. The 24 oz is also a fantastic size and I don't have to refill it as often as the 16 oz. Definitely worth every penny. And it will last a lifetime
