Review on πŸ… Papo Standing Tiger Multicolor Figure by Fred Meeks

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Lots of attention to detail

My little one loves Papo the nursing tiger figure. I wasn't aware of this when ordering, but the little tiger cubs, although grouped together as a unit, are a separate part from their mother and can be played alone or while nursing. The cubs' tiny pink paws and tigress' position (front paws stacked on top of each other) are done quite well, as is the detail showing her nipples. What can I say, I believe that anatomical correctness is an asset when teaching kids about nature and science! The attention to detail in sculpting and painting is on par or better than Schleich and MUCH better than Safari. The main differences I've noticed between Papo and Schleich are that Papo animal figures tend to be slightly larger (even on the same scale) and slightly translucent, which can be a disadvantage or an advantage depending on the species.

Pros
  • Highly detailed and durable
Cons
  • Hard to tell
