Beatiful toy for your kids

As a parent, I can't stress enough how much the Baby Einstein Octoplush Musical Octopus Stuffed Animal Plush Toy has become an integral part of our daily routine. This charming and engaging plush toy has been an absolute lifesaver in terms of keeping our little one entertained, soothed, and even aiding in their early developmental milestones. The Octoplush's design is both visually appealing and incredibly well thought out. The bright blue color and adorable smiling octopus face instantly…

Engaging toy, good classical music.

I bought this toy for my 5 month old baby boy, and so far he has loved it. I am impressed with the quality of the fabric and sewing; it feels very sturdy even when baby boy is tugging on the legs and gnawing on them. It stands up well to drool so far! I like that it plays classical music, as opposed to some of the more "kiddy" songs that are on many other toys. It also does not sound too tinny. The music does get set off fairly easily, and each song lasts probably 30 seconds, so if you…

Pros
  • VERY SOFT AND CUTE
Cons
  • May collect dirt and dust easily

Seems to be good value for the price

My daughter loves this toy and the music that it plays. She’s only four months old so she hasn’t quite figured out the connection between the colors and pushing the button but she gets upset anytime the music goes off so she loves listening to the music that it plays. It’s very good it’s pretty good quality for the price and seems so far like it is lasting. If I have any problems like some other reviewers did with this new version I will update.

Pros
  • This toy is so cute I am certain my 1 year old grand niece will love it.
Cons
  • Not machine washable

So much for so little. Appeals to all.

This was purchased for my four month old grandson. As he has become aware he loves to gaze at the colors and sounds. However his four year old sister is sharing it with him. She has learned her colors in Spanish and French now. She's a very advanced four year old and can't wait to teach her brother everything. Finding a great quality toy that is educational is pretty easy. But to find this for $13 was an incredible value. My daughter had not seen one before and thought it was $29 or more. Nice…

Pros
  • The toy's cute design is sure to be a hit with parents and children alike
Cons
  • May not have enough features to keep interest

Well Made Trilingual Toy

We bought the Octoplush because of its ability to verbalize in three different languages - English, Spanish and French. Our family speaks more than one language and it is important for us to find toys that teach these languages to the youngest members. We specifically were looking for the French connection, since Walmart has a limited number of toys that caters to French speakers. The Octoplush does not disappoint. The baby of the family was enchanted with the Octoplush and the fact that she…

Pros
  • Stuffed Animals & Teddy Bears
Cons
  • May not be versatile

good learning toy best in my review

this was one of my sons favorite toys. It worked well and it lasted a long time. Only thing I can say that was wrong with it was that when it said the color yellow it was hilarious. I cant even explain the way it said it. At first I thought maybe it was just me then I showed my husband and he automatically started laughing. I didn't read anything about this in the reviews I read so maybe it was just a defect in the one we received. Still a good toy though.

Pros
  • Colorful stitched satin patches on velour legs promote baby's understanding of color through repetition
Cons
  • May have a confusing musical function

Smaller than I expected

Smaller than I expected but it’s okay. My daughter likes the music at 7.5 months old. We use the colors to engage her and show her objects in the house the same color.

Pros
  • Soft, multi-textured developmental Baby Einstein octopus
Cons
  • May need to be replaced quickly

No batteries included?!

Got this great toy for one of my grandchildren but was shocked when my daughter told me it didn’t work, and that she had to go buy batteries for it. Yes, if I had read the small print I might have known that but I am really surprised that a musical toy in particular that’s created for a baby would not come ready to use from such a good brand name otherwise everything is great

Pros
  • it is small in size, but so cute, especially for babies which fits in their tiny hands. Recommended
Cons
  • May be too loud for some infants

Baby’s first toy in my review

My new grandson started to play with this at 3 months. Kept his interest and he stays focused on it first a long time! Worth it!

Pros
  • Stuffed Animals & Plush Toys
Cons
  • May not be able to play louder sounds

Super cute!: my feedback

My daughter loves this little guy, he’s smaller than I pictured but perfect size for little ones to hold. The buttons are very easy to press and don’t require any strength at all which is great for babies. The music he plays when you press his face is nice the tentacles just saying colors isn’t too exciting but the music makes up for that.

Pros
  • The switch to turn on the music box is under a velcro closure & is not practical at all.
Cons
  • May be too expensive for some budgets

Seems to get more interest as my little one gets older.

My little one is now 6 months old and has only recently started enjoying this toy. The colors are very vibrant and she has always enjoyed any toy with big eyes but it just wasn't holding her attention until recently. It does seem a little more lackluster than her other toys as it is just a plush where the arms say the corresponding color name and the head plays one song at a time. The quality of the item is very good and cleans up easily. My little one can now pick it up and sling it around…

Pros
  • This plush toy is designed to be easy for little hands to hold, making it perfect for even the youngest children
Cons
  • May be confusing to the parent to operate

Baby loves the underside pattern and music!

The 7 month old in our family will roll, army crawl and reach to get to this toy- her favorite. Very soft, music is not obnoxious and looks cute!

Pros
  • My grandson loved it. He plays with a d chews on it a little.
Cons
  • May not appeal to older kids

Cute fun toy for mommy and baby.

I purchased this baby Einstein Octopus musical plush for my best friends baby. I personally think it's adorable and fits perfectly if you're theme for the baby is nautical. It speaks 3 languages with a switch on the battery pack and has a volume control on it which I think is an amazing feature to have. The Octopus plays multiple songs when you press its head and has press points on each tenticle to tell you which color they are pressing. My friend loves it as well. The baby hasn't arrived yet…

Pros
  • Squeeze Octoplush’s head to activate more classical melodies
Cons
  • May have an unpleasant musical sound

clever idea, not durable

Bought this 3.5 years ago. My oldest was never super into it, so it spent most of its time in the toy bin. Now that my youngest is interested, I’ve found three of the colors don’t work. Four stars for being a clever learning toy that’s not made to last.

Pros
  • The toy features a musical element that plays a soothing melody to help calm and comfort infants
Cons
  • May stop working without warning

Nice quality - my new review

This was even nicer than I expected. Well worth the price. My 9 month old granddaughter enjoyed it. Love it! Thanks for attention.

Pros
  • Granddaughter loved it.
Cons
  • May not be as durable as other stuffed animals

Your baby will love this!

My 3 month old loves this toy. It’s the first toy we started to get a real interaction from her with. She lights up with a smile every time we bring it out and play one of the songs. She’s still not quite there for strength to press the buttons herself, but you can see the thought process and attempt which is great to see the toy helping with development. I do wish there was another song or two as we have these 3 songs on repeat quite often, again because it’s her favorite toy

Pros
  • The Octoplush comes in a beautiful blue color that is visually stimulating and attractive to young children
Cons
  • May have limited play settings

Octi is awesome!: my feedback

The baby loves it!Gave this to our baby at 2 weeks and now he wont sleep without it ( now 5+ months).baby places over his face to sleep! Slightly alarming.but no way to harm the little guy, so we're good.Mom loves the fact it can teach colors & when older can teach the difference of languages as well.the rotating songs from squishing the head makes changing time alot easier. Plus he love to play with it on the long drives.UPDATE: NOW 1year old: Octi is still his best friend but broke at 9…

Pros
  • The toy promotes independent play, allowing children to explore and learn without constant adult supervision
Cons
  • May not be as effective as other musical toys

Great quality but some cons.

It's a great product, I must start saying. I bought this before my baby was born, now she's almost 2 months and for stimulating her senses (as the pedriatician encouraged us) is awesome! Since she's still too little, and obviously can't hold it for herself, I hold it at around 40 cms from her and push it to play the music : it plays music when you push either the eyes or the mouth. The tentacles are just a voice that says the colors indicated. She would look at it very still and even tried to…

Pros
  • The musical aspect of the toy provides a fun and interactive experience for children
Cons
  • May contain small parts which are a choking hazard

I introduced it to my baby around 1 month. Baby is now 3 months now. Outside is a soft material but the music player/battery pack in the middle of the head makes for a very solid and heavy product. My son doesn't really play with the toy, at least not yet.Music 5/5 It plays 4 songs I don't get sick of. Very catchy rhythms that after 2 months I still enjoy and haven't gotten sick of. BIG PLUS!We play it during tummy time. Baby finds it relaxing so i don't have to constantly shake a rattle. Lie…

Pros
  • Babies can hug the octopus to hear a Baby Einstein melody and explore the textures for tactile development
Cons
  • May appeal only to musical-buffs

I LOVE THIS: my feedback

When I first saw this I just thought it was a regular plush toy. but when it arrived it started making noise. So to find out it speaks 3 different languages of colors and it plays soothing sound songs. I love it! My son gets so excited when he hears the noises coming from it and it is soft enough for him to eat it. Lol I gave it to him at 3 months.

Pros
  • First purchase I bought once I found out my daughter was expecting her first childToo cute for words 💙
Cons
  • May not be interactive enough for curious babies
