Review on πŸ’ͺ Stay Fit and Connected with the Amazfit GTS Smartwatch - 14 Day Battery, Heart Rate Monitor, GPS, Sleep and Swim Tracking, and More! by Anastazja Szczur ᠌

Revainrating 3 out of 5

The product is the most common, it could be worse.

Because they know I want to purchase watches for children in the future, they presented me with this one to enjoy for a few days before I make my purchase. The watch is attractive and has a high-quality display, but those are the only two things that can be said in its favor. The connection between the watch and the phone is frequently severed, and it does not always reestablish itself. Even after the latest firmware had been available for two days, the issues with the gaps remained unresolved. There is no ability to respond to a message on the watch (even briefly, using the typical blanks), and there is no way to respond to a call that is received on the watch. The notifications are functional, but the entire process is highly cumbersome because of the huge messages and the slowdown that occurs when going to a new screen to display the content. NFC is present, but no one made any guarantees that it would function properly, so it isn't there! The AOD mode can be used, but the dial will display a different, more simplistic image. The music can be controlled, but there is a "subtlety" involved: you have to start the player on the phone ahead of time. If this step is skipped, I was unable to control the music using either the Apple device or the Android device. When you are on a call, you have the ability to reset the call from your watch or turn off the sound of the call. However, I have no idea why this function does not work on an Android OnePlus phone; however, it does work on an Apple phone. Everything else functions exactly the same as it does on other wristbands made by this manufacturer, including the GPS and the pulse monitor. Autonomy almost certainly heavily depends on the offered services; in just two days, my battery dropped to between 50 and 55 percent of its original capacity. Bottom line: haven't decided yet! A very contentious price, considering that the 3rd Series product from a well-known brand is already officially a little more expensive than this device, and that the two products probably cannot be compared at all in terms of their functionalities. Those individuals who are used to this "format" or who are supporters of this brand will probably find that this item meets their needs.

Pros
  • The materials used and the construction quality
Cons
  • Price! The functionality is not up to par with what we would expect from a device costing 10,000 dollars. Unpredictability in performance when using either iOS or Android-based mobile devices.
