Definitely not a 10farad cap, it helps with traction in the electrical system. However, it works about as well as an old-style 1 farad capacitor. It's very visually appealing and should theoretically prevent the headlights from dimming. My headlights are still dim, "not that strong," but still noticeable. I only use a 200dsm punch for a 10 inch subwoofer. The Punch 200 is a very underrated and class A/B amp, so actual power output is probably around 700 watts pure. All in all a good product if you don't need a lot of power.
