I really like these things, I will buy another pair, found something but found under other listings. So I was excited, got a pair. Haven't seen or used them in ages so I'm hooked. The only differences between them and the older ones are mainly the fabric used in the glove or the part that covers the wrist - the older ones are heavier fabric-like, these use more nylon than a combination of fabric and nylon. They seem to be more durable while the old ones seem warmer so they aren't any better; They are just different, both have different merits. The more durable new material is cool. Also the old balaclavas were white undyed wool except for the cuffs, basically the same except for the colour. Anyway, I love these things, I will use them all the time. They are also comfortable to use with gloves when it gets cold.
