Review on Airplane Birthday Flight for Christmas Toddlers by Adam Huper

I bought this for my 6 year old's birthday as a fun outdoor gift so we can play together. The planes are of pretty good quality for the price and he had no problems using them. Out of the box they fly normally (especially when looped) in calm winds (they are very light and the wind completely disrupts the flight). However, with a slight adjustment to the aircraft's center of gravity (see US dime taped to the midsection of the body), it can actually be increased in flight. We spent a little time working with the direction of the wing (up, down, back, front) at the tail and the positioning of the weight (five cents), and we were able to fly about 50 meters straight in calm winds with relative ease. These planes are of great value as a "hobby" and offer good opportunities to convey educational moments through play. They seem to be durable but when they finally do fall apart we'll probably buy more as I can see this is a durable toy to learn from and experiment with!
