I had an old laptop where the SSD gave out, I wasn't happy with buying a new 2.5" drive, where all my new laptops use M.2 devices, of course there is no way to reuse the drive if the laptop dies. But I had a 256GB M.2 removed from a dead laptop lying around, so with that in mind I was looking for a cheap solution, here it is. The case is cheap plastic but easy to use apart from the really tiny screws to attach the lid, I wasn't worried about that as it comes with the laptop Laptop Usage It's been working reliably for days, my son who isn't at school right now is very happy that his laptop is as good as always works.
