Does it work with Samsung 850 EVO M.2 500GB

put in my 850 EVO In this adapter the hard drive sees neither BIOS nor Windows. Unfortunately, converting the 850 EVO into a PC that doesn't have an M.2 could have been a practical option, but that wasn't the case. Given the price of the adapter, I don't even think it's worth sending it back. I guess I'll just toss this piece of junk in the trash and go about my business. I think you get the same as if you order from an unknown foreign company.

Pros
  • . Good thing
Cons
  • No form required

An inexpensive and fun way to protect your SSD in the future

I had an old laptop where the SSD gave out, I wasn't happy with buying a new 2.5" drive, where all my new laptops use M.2 devices, of course there is no way to reuse the drive if the laptop dies. But I had a 256GB M.2 removed from a dead laptop lying around, so with that in mind I was looking for a cheap solution, here it is. The case is cheap plastic but easy to use apart from the really tiny screws to attach the lid, I wasn't worried about that as it comes with the laptop Laptop Usage It's…

Cheap Chinese Junk: Hard Drive Accessories

The M.2 SSD slot is literally the wrong shape/size. None of the M.2 SSDs I have will fit. At first I thought I was doing something wrong, but it's not rocket science. I have no idea what memory card this device is for, but it's not as advertised. Completely useless. Avoid.

Pros
  • Absolute Legend
Cons
  • Definitely a bad product

Does it work with Samsung 850 EVO M.2 500GB

I have a known good 850 EVO M.2 drive, known good power and SATA cables (works with other drives) and When I put the hard drive in, it doesn't see its 850 EVO in this adapter either in the BIOS or in Windows. missing a key part

I bought two of these to test a new system with M.2 NGFF 32GB SATA SSD cards. FUNCTIONALLY they worked well. On a commercial hard drive duplicator, I was able to use a good bootable master M.2 SATA SSD to duplicate to two new M.2 SATA SSDs. I had no problems connecting M.2 cards to the slot. (TIP: Hold the M.2 board at about a 30Β° angle when inserting, then gently press down to secure the board with the securing screw.) Duplicates work as expected, copying the primary SSD. THE PROBLEM is that…
