I bought two of these to test a new system with M.2 NGFF 32GB SATA SSD cards. FUNCTIONALLY they worked well. On a commercial hard drive duplicator, I was able to use a good bootable master M.2 SATA SSD to duplicate to two new M.2 SATA SSDs. I had no problems connecting M.2 cards to the slot. (TIP: Hold the M.2 board at about a 30Β° angle when inserting, then gently press down to secure the board with the securing screw.) Duplicates work as expected, copying the primary SSD. THE PROBLEM is that the small stand that attaches the M.2 to the adapter has been dented and moved to the 2280 position. My SSDs are 2242. This would not be a problem if they made the installed stand 'movable' or included a different one would stand that could be adjusted for shorter M.2 cards. When it comes to our production system, we'll be ordering 16 StarTech versions of this board, which is more durable and has a "moving" stand.
