When I first saw them they looked huge and I thought they wouldn't fit. It turned out that although the top stripe seemed too loose, the fit was perfect all around the perimeter. I wear a 6.5 and ordered up to a 7. They held up with no issues, the insoles were comfortable despite the little "noises" that came with a few steps (you know those lol!), and they were good for most of the day. I've only worn them at home and climbing stairs wasn't a problem. However, as the day progressed they started to sweat a bit and by the end of the day I was having pain on the sides of my feet inside the band. A bit strange because the band is not firm, but not flexible either. The price was right on these shoes but it looks like a quest for me.
