It's stronger from side to side than I thought it would be, and when I put my hands on the table there's almost no movement on the table. Considering I'm on the carpet, that's a bonus. Hard floor becomes even more stable. It doesn't look as "cheap" as I thought it would, although it doesn't look luxurious either. But if you watch the video and see the photo I posted, you'll see that it holds its own in a relatively good area of the house. No need to shove it in a corner or hide it aside if you don't want to. The controls are easy to set up and in my experience they work great. I've recently found that I'm more productive, motivated and willing to work standing up at the computer. It's like an activity, not work or play. The good thing is that later I can put another desktop on top to make it even prettier.
