This device is a tablet with GPS software and other functions. It works. The instructions are very simple, but "you" should do yourself a favor and set up the device to suit your needs. The only issue I don't recommend it for is that there's no way to update the software to get current maps without buying them from a retailer. If they haven't bothered to give you an update, then you're out of luck. The device provides you with a website to update the software yourself, but this device is not a third party and they don't have a new one yet. Perhaps you could try another well-known brand that is compatible, but that's up to you. This unit is being returned as it came to me with 2 year old software which cannot be updated unless the seller takes the time to send you an update. hard pass.
