The blade does not rotate, more like a slicer than a vegetable peeler.
Everything about it is great except what it's supposed to do. Removes too much meat. I pulled out a 99 cent vegetable peeler and was able to get results on the same veggies. It should spin, but apparently they didn't clean the holes. I'll try to fix it with a dremel.
