Review on Decorably Crystal Display Shelf Table by Rachel Streater

I start with the good. It is very easy to assemble. My 13 year old son was able to put it together in a minute. I gave it an extra star for that. However, this item is much smaller than I expected. Maybe it's my fault for not reading the full description and only looking at the first photo as I was expecting to be able to put something on it, like a figurine or a plant. They call it a shelf and the photo I saw was a bit misleading but then again maybe it's my fault for not checking it further. Unfortunately I'm stuck with this thing right now and can't do anything about it. I asked my son to take it apart and put it back in the box without taking a picture of it himself because I was disappointed when I saw how small it was and realized it was of no use to me. I've recently moved and have so many things to unpack that I really need proper shelves to put some of my stuff on. It's just not right. I don't know what else to say as I just threw it away after seeing it. I have no intention of doing anything about it. I'll probably throw it away or maybe donate it, I don't know. I can't return it and I can't give it away as I don't know anyone who could use it. It's not really a shelf. I think calling it a shelf is a bit misleading; It's more of a decorative item that you can attach keys to. And if that's what you're looking for, then yes, it's cute. But it won't work for more than that. To be honest I wouldn't pay for this item and I wish I had done more research rather than act impulsively based on just a single photo and item name.
