Terrible transfer speeds from faulty adapter

This computer cable adapter is a complete waste of money. I purchased this kind of adapter to use in tandem with my Ethernet cable when running data from my modem to my computer, but it failed miserably. The transfer speeds were slow and unreliable, and the build quality of the adapter itself was questionable at best. Computers need dependable connections, and this device does not deliver.
