The controller itself is pretty good. It definitely feels lighter compared to the Pro Switch controller, and the plastic used definitely makes the controller feel "cheaper" (because it's significantly cheaper than the Pro Switch controller), especially the top of the analog sticks. feels very different and the buttons click differently, but that doesn't render the controller unusable or anything. Everything works fine on the switch. The two buttons on the back are mapped to both B and X, but they can be easily remapped, and remapping them to themselves essentially disables them (I had to do this as I accidentally left them the whole pressed time). You can also remove the entire back cover, but that makes the controller awkward to hold. So I assumed this controller would be compatible with the PC, but read the devs response that said it wasn't. However, I was actually able to connect it to my computer and it was recognized in both controller emulation software such as x360ce and Steam. If you go to the Big Picture controller settings, you can add that controller as "Generic Controller" and then map each button accordingly. I then toggled the settings to recognize it as an Xbox 360 controller (I think) and was able to use the controller to play Rocket League. I also connected my headset to the controller and was able to change my audio output and input to the controller in Discord and it worked great. I haven't tested the voice features on the Switch yet, but I haven't been able to get the talk button to work on the PC (yet). I think if you want this controller to work with a non-Steam game you'll probably need to use some sort of emulation software (like x360ce) but I've had good luck only adding non-Steam related games as games . Everything Steam launches has full controller support; In fact, I added the entire Epic Launcher as a non-Steam game just to have controller support for all Epic games (including Fortnite). I recommend this route if you want to use the controller for a non-Steam game. I will update my review if I find any issues! TLDR: Great controller for the price, seems cheap but what can you expect from a significantly cheaper controller. There is PC support, but a little setup is required.
