I drive a Chevy Sonic which is a small hatchback and easily covers the entire seat. My intended use is my weekly trip to volunteer at an animal welfare organization and adopt a dog from a shelter to play and socialize so I don't expect much wear and tear but the fabric seems reasonably durable. I don't like putting headrests on the back seats because I never have that many passengers and I would prefer it to be clearly visible so the pictures show how I used the tape to tie it through the attachment point on the back of the seat to guide . Seat. It's secure and when I'm not using the cover I just unclip it from the front seat, roll it up and slide it through the back seat and into the sunroof. My only wish is for the bags to be on the "passenger side" of the car so I can easily reach them during a stop and keep an eye on the dog to make sure he doesn't chew on it or climb in.
