Worst Gorilla Product - Shame on the name

This is not a Gorilla product. Can not be. They just licensed their name to someone. Just get Elmer's or any other brand you like. The glue stick should grab, slide a little, and then hold. After curing/drying it should stand firm. This gorilla glue stick won't grab or hold. He's too soft. Closer to thick petroleum jelly than glue stick (and close to freezing here, so temperature isn't a concern). I glued 2 pieces of cardboard together. ran them along one side of the section. Flat, dry, bare, rough surfaces. Squeezed them together. They split up. Spread it on both sides. Longer pressed harder. Pop Pop I ended up having to rock this stupid thing to align them. After a few hours, I took it off and clicked it on. One side sticks, the other doesn't. If I tried to help kids glue construction paper with this, we would ALL collapse. On the plus side, yes it dried up. When it broke there was no purple at all. At least they got that part right. Any other glue stick will harden. Elmar knows how to do it. Gorilla is usually my glue but this product is not up to standard. The Gorilla Band is also pretty weak. The original Gorilla and Gorilla Superglue are amazing, but their second strings are a waste of money.
