I received my DX3900 4 days ago and so far I am satisfied. This is my second digital camera. My first Canon Power Shot A50 is still very good at just 1.3MP. Kodak is very easy to use and has a few more features than the old Canon. The price I paid is less than what I paid for a 1.3MP Canon camera two years ago and better than most recent 2MP cameras. I compared many cameras before buying this one. I really wanted Olympus, Canon, Nikon or Fuji, but kept coming back to them. I bought it mainly for more pixels and mostly for the price. It doesn't have the features of the others, but then again the price was too good to pass up. I really like the additional lenses that are available and plan to get them as soon as possible. I will try this on one of my telescopes and hope for good astro images. I bought the 128MB card required for this camera as the included 8MB card can take 8 tiny shots. I'll say it's not as good as Canon with a heavier metal body. The Kodak is plastic, but then again, most of the other ones I've kept lately are also plastic. Also, the 1.5-inch display is slightly smaller than Canon's 2-inch display. I also like the Canon card slot and eject mechanism better and I'm really scared of breaking open the Kodak's door. But again the price.
