I got the 48 inch. It's pretty easy to use. ... Maybe I was expecting to program more specific moves, but as they say you have to program the beginning and the end, which is a bit of a headache but worse because if you don't stop it immediately before it reaches the ends of the slider rubs it against the end until you press the middle button. It looks like you are setting a relative distance. And if you accidentally saved it by looping the edge, it will when you try to use it. I did that a few times in the beginning because I wanted it to be the ending. The autocycle didn't work at first, but then I went into the settings, reset it and it worked. The speed was slightly higher, or at least you could control the smoothness from slowing down to stopping the speed or duration of the action. but maybe I'm asking for advanced features. The way the camera pans isn't exactly automatic. or programmed I think. There is a bar in the middle that needs to be adjusted to turn it one way or the other. So there are basically 3 pans you can craft. left of the end, right of the end, or straight if you're holding the bar straight. I think it might work, but I was expecting more customization. You can, of course, start at one end by pointing your camera diagonally at the subject and then move it to the other side to look at the subject. I think it works but I haven't tried it yet. Seems like a little tweaking is needed, not just programming what you want. I imagine it might limit some recordings. how depending on the focal length. but I haven't fully tested it. Yes. never mind I don't know if the lack of features makes it too restrictive, but it is a motorized slider. This is probably normal for most jobs.
