Review on Beats Pro Totally Wireless And High-Performance Bluetooth Earphones -Lava Red (Renewed) by Kero Kero ᠌

Revainrating 4 out of 5

It was a reasonable purchase, will order more.

I bought this model after the big Bose QC 35 II noise reduction. Initially I considered Apple AirPods / Pro, but they do not sit in my ears (like a third of the world's population) and constantly fall out at the slightest movement. I liked the look, secure attachment to the ear (even during training) and excellent synchronization with Apple devices. The sound is good for true wireless headphones, but you should understand that this is still trash compared to the serious segment. There is a rich pounding bass (for which some people love the Beats anyway). But due to the lack of an active noise cancellation system, you don’t feel any of this while on a busy street or in the subway. Management is unsuccessful. Pressing quickly 3 times on the soft stroke of the button to switch to the previous song is tantamount to suicide. The buttons are not spaced between the two headphones, but are duplicated on both so that even if the battery "dies" on one, you are able to fully work independently on the other. The use of the Lightning port and the included USB-A cable are annoying. On the one hand, Apple themselves are running ahead of the locomotive, removing all ports except usb-c from laptops, and then selling accessories with old and proprietary connectors ¯\_(ツ)_/¯. Hefty charging case (when compared with the same AirPods or competitors) without the possibility of wireless charging. Verdict: A good option if you are closed to the Apple ecosystem, you don’t want to think about the fact that the headphones can inadvertently fall out of your ear at the most inopportune moment and do your workouts in headphones. The lack of Active Noise Cancellation is a HUGE minus that cancels out so many pluses in sound. If you want noise reduction, use Android / Windows, wireless charging or modern ports, then you can look at competitors in the segment: Jabra Elite 75t Sony WF-1000XM3 Jaybird VISTA Sennheiser MomentumTrue Wireless, etc

Pros
  • 1. Build Quality 2. Comfortable to wear and reliable attachment to the ears. 3. Battery compared to peers in the True Wireless segment. 4. Sound quality, if you take into account the form factor of the device. 5. Ease of connection (especially if you are closed to the Apple ecosystem) 6. Sweat and moisture protection 7. The quality of the microphone is amazing 8. Appearance
Cons
  • 1. No noise reduction 2. Management 3. Huge charging case 4. Proprietary Lightning connector instead of USB-C.
