This strap helped us win the battle with the adjustable bed we bought in December. It came with a 10 inch foam mattress and we added a 3 inch memory foam mattress. Almost every morning, the corners of the mattress pad and sheets are pulled together. The corner strap of the 3-inch mattress has also been lengthened. In addition, the two beds moved apart, so that the distance between the beds increased. After researching deals on adjustable bed accessories, we ordered an elasticated bed bumper, pivot pins to hold it in place, and a pair of "leaf ribbon suspenders" that we attached to each side of the mattress pad corners. We also used some pivot pins to hold the mattress pad and straps on the 3 inch mattress. We then wrapped this strap around the bed and again used a couple of pivot pins to hold it in place. After a week we feel like we won the battle. Everything is available! Of course, a strap around the bed means we have to raise the headboards of both beds to the same height. They also need to be updated at the same time. I don't think the belt will stay in place unless we do it. Of course we have to take it off when we change the sheets, but it's worth it since we don't have to live with a big tear down the middle every night.
