I took a chance and ordered these Torin shoes online without trying them on. I have had great luck ordering from Thorin online in the past and they seem smooth and supportive in day to day use. I don't run, but these are my everyday shoes. It took my feet a few weeks to get used to the shoes and the shoes to my feet. In fact, I break them. I also experimented with socks of different thicknesses. Gradually it converges and I feel more and more comfortable and happier with them. Friends look at the shoes and find that they look durable and comfortable, which is true. I ordered online because I'm too lazy to go to a physical store, but I think next time I need shoes like this I'll "bite the bullet" and find them in a brick-and-mortar store. This is increasingly hard work, both at Revain and in the stationary workshops. A few years ago I had no problem finding Torin shoes I really liked at Revain.
