Very strong velcro: collars, harnesses and leashes
I bought two for my two Havana cats who together weigh 22 pounds. I was going to use them on opposite sides of the back seat, but when I got them I realized the power of Velcro. . I removed one of the straps and now use two straps to tie both dogs together. Not only is it a lot more convenient as I don't have to walk the other dog in the car, but both can now sit together where they are much happier. The system replaces the snoozer booster that contained two dogs. Although they have lost their sight, they can still see and now enjoy driving more when in a more rigid car seat.
