So I was looking for a temporary replacement for my MK microdermabrasion scrub (I couldn't order one due to Covid) and the reviews here were decent. Received my order fairly quickly and was happy with the scent when I opened it. It is a moist, clay-like texture with large grains. I was skeptical as I was hoping for a finer scrub, but the product smoothes out well. The granules aren't sharp, they don't scratch my face, but I definitely felt smoother after washing them off. It doesn't dry out my face like some of the other face scrubs I've tried. I wouldn't exactly call it a scrub: I have an oily face with large pores and frequent breakouts along my chin and jawline. I use Shea Moisture Black African Soap Bamboo Charcoal Deep Foaming Face Wash daily which I love and is really great for preventing blemishes; but it's hormones and sometimes I get deep pimples. So I need a good scrub weekly to smooth out my face and not cause more problems. The MK scrub is very good and makes my face smooth. This Acure was about 2 notches behind what I was looking for. But again, I really like this product for a quick and easy exfoliation. I would recommend you try it and see how it helps you. So I was pleasantly surprised by this product and glad I found it.
