I apologize in advance for the negative feedback. I was looking for a way to contact the seller directly but was unable to do so. I bought this heater because of the many good reviews! I am half satisfied with this product. The temperature of the product indicates that the water should be regulated within 75-82 for a 25w heater. After 5 days the temperature reader stopped working, so I bought an extra temperature sensor. Now that I have a sensor that accurately measures the water temperature, I have found that the heater operates consistently and keeps the temperature somewhere between 84-90 degrees. for my fighting fish! I may have received a defective heater, but I do not currently recommend this product.
