I have had this unit for 3 weeks now. It was integrated with my other security measures; Security cameras, thermal, infrared and electromagnetic (vehicle) sensors, audible alarms and booby traps on my property. This system, along with my cameras, enabled me to do a two-minute jump on an armed thief at 5:15 am one morning late last week. This system woke me from a light sleep and allowed me to see my CCVT and thermal monitors. And so a grin appeared on my face as I saw movement in what the perpetrator believed was obscuring the darkness behind my car carrier and RV in Zone 1 (a 30 lap clip) and continued to watch his actions. Lucky for him he didn't fall into a 12 gauge shotgun trap in my shed and went to the side of my house where the zone 2 motion sensor was triggered multiple times. I drew a red dot directly on his face from the kitchen window and watched him walk to the side door of my house. Security is now off and just as I had bumped into him a second earlier my security light came on and he ran down my driveway. For real? I have to turn off this light. Either way, set this product up by zone and it's easy to integrate with other systems and track progress. 2 alarms, probably something there. As for false alarms, very rare on my setup, 1 this week and it was only during heavy rain. The noises are stupid, but you remember which one is where, and the handset lights up which ones go out. I also don't turn mine on until after sundown or when I'm home during the day. The nice fact is that the receiver is portable with an internal battery so I can take it to the den, garage, workshop, campgrounds, my bunker, etc. The sensor range is amazing. I buy a second set of 4 sensors. then in zone 1 there are 2 sensors and double the area, the same for zones 2,3 and 4. Good product, I hope it lasts several years.
