Very bad camera for 2016

I've owned dozens of digital cameras over the years, ranging from small compacts to large SLRs. I had the predecessor of this camera from Sony (DSC-W180). It would fit in my pocket when mountaineering. She served me well during my hikes, taking videos and photos. It took great pictures and videos and was very durable. Sony will be better. Am I wrong? This camera is terrible. First, the processing time after taking a picture is very long. More than two seconds. A 2016 camera can't process a still image for that long. This is very annoying. Secondly. The battery life is very short. Probably half the battery life of my old camera. Third, a terrible outbreak. Here, too, it performs worse than the first generation of digital cameras. This creates a strong "flash in the face" effect in which people's faces are overexposed. This is caused by bad feedback loops in the flash control system. I played with all the flash settings and they never worked properly. Finally, the camera is fine in low light (no flash). I would hope for the best with a backlit sensor. I think the developers of this camera tried to cram more pixels into the camera for this model and hit all the other parameters of the camera. I plan to throw the camera away and buy another one.
