Assembling and installing these shelves is no easy task. The main problem lies in the construction. The design of the shelves themselves is good, but the quality of the details is such that the design is a bit "mowed". The metal bar on both of my shelves turned out to be a little crooked, although the glass top itself is perfectly flat as the joint between the bar, bracket and top is difficult/impossible to make completely flush and tight. I think it's only really noticeable when you're standing right in front of the shelves. I bought better quality anchors and drywall screws as suggested by other reviews and I think it was a good idea. The shelves make a stable impression.
