It's more like a wallet and you fold your bills in half to slip them into the zip pocket. I no longer carry cash or change so this is perfect. I wish they would offer a soft leather model with a different ID slot option, but this is the model I would use for everyday use. UPDATE: My wife loved it, she bought it in black and smashed her wallet. There's a lot more room in her purse for what she's carrying in this monster (I really don't want to know). If we go by bike, she can take that with us and leave her purse (without anything valuable) in the car. UPDATE: The zip still works perfectly, but I don't have to fetch anything in the compartment all that often. I keep expense reports and a folded insurance card, but that's about it. At this price you can't go wrong.
