Deep sharpener, not ideal for make-up pencils
It is quite suitable as a sharpener for ordinary pencils. I needed a sharpener that was flat for makeup pencils, especially the wider ones. It's not good for that. The pencil has to go very deep into the sharpener for the blade to touch it and it only tears through the soft wax but doesn't actually sharpen the point.
