Great cushion. I read a lot of reviews because I don't like pillows that are too soft or too hard. I didn't want shredded foam either. I wanted a one-piece pillow that would be soft enough for my head to sink in a bit while also supporting my neck so I don't get stiff necks in the mornings. This pillow is firm enough, soft enough, and I've slept much better since it arrived. I sleep on my side and sometimes on my back. It works great for both. This pillow has gel cooling foam. I feel like it's cooler than my other pillows but didn't buy it for that reason. It's just a small bonus. I've had the pillow for a month now, no complaints.
