Purchased in sizes 4 & 6 to see which one would fit my almost 7 yr old better. She is on the lean and skinny side with a tiny butt, short torso, long legs. Although the 4 fit better on her, decided to keep the 6. The white "feather” skirt and swan appliqué on the two sizes are different colors. On the 4, it’s a pure white, on the 6 more of an off white. The hardware on the back straps are also different. On the 4, clear on the 6, silver. I liked the construction of the feather skirt on the 6 better as well as the color. See pic. I believe the weight of the spandex fabric is lighter on the size 4, which is why it’s not laying down flatly like the size 6 , which looks more weighted down. I will just have to alter the size 6 at the side seams to fit her tighter.But overall very happy with the quality, feel. It’s cute that it’s comes w a matching bonnet.
