Great product, easy to install and does the job. It's typically used for CCTV systems but I used it to break and connect a solar powered lamp. I have two lights on the stairs, one continuous which runs until 10am after sunrise and the other where I have the product installed which I plug in when the other is off. The lamp's solar panel is on the roof of our house (I can't reach the switch on the back of the solar panel to turn it on and off) so I need an accessible breaker and I found one. I was trying to install an inline switch but it was very difficult as the line is very narrow and only contains black and red wires and when I tried to strip the red and black wires to reveal the copper and then the Pulling out covers left me almost without enough copper to safely and permanently complete the installation. This product has one entry for the red wire (I used the entry marked with a plus sign (+) and the other entry marked with a minus sign (-) which I used to plug the black wire into both terminals. I really like solar energy ⚡ but the solar system for the house, which includes 13 solar panels and a Tesla battery, among other things, costs about $25,000. We already have a solar water heater, power, a gas range, a gas clothes dryer, LED lights, four inverter air conditioners, an energy efficient fridge, a microwave and a washing machine which we bought years before solar powered systems for home installation.
