Description of Raw Pyrite Mineral Specimen Classrooms

PYRITE | Pyrite forms as hot water flows through fractures in subsurface rock. This deposition method allows pyrite to replace other minerals or fossils through pyritization. Also known as Fool's Gold, this brassy, metallic mineral is often mistaken for gold. GREAT FOR GEOLOGY CLASSROOMS | Excellent for exercises in identification and pyritization. LOCALLY PROCESSED | Our rock and mineral samples are sourced from a variety of locations around the world and are processed in Victor, NY. GEOLOGIST SELECTED | Each specimen is selected and hand processed by an actual geologist, ensuring each sample exhibits defining features. INDIVIDUALLY PACKAGED & LABELED | Each specimen sample is packaged in a transparent bag, and is labeled & barcoded for easy identification.

Stunning Pyrite Mineral for Learning

As a science teacher i was impressed by the Raw Pyrite Mineral Specimen for CLASSROOMS .The specimens were great tools to use during lessons and hands-on experiments. They were durable, and the size was perfect for my students to examine the finer details. As a result of using this product, I found that my students were more engaged and gained a deeper understanding of industrial and scientific concepts. The only downside was that there were only a limited number of specimens in the set, and I…

Pros
  • Unique and visually interesting addition to any classroom's science collection.
Cons

Disappointing Quality, Not Worth Buying

Based on my observations the Raw Pyrite Mineral Specimen is far from impressive. Though it's tagged as Industrial and Scientific, the specimen`s quality is poor and does not meet the standards that I expected. The only plus point is that it arrived on time .For the price, it's DEFINITELY not worth buying. Overall, I would not recommend it to anyone..

Pros
  • Aesthetically pleasing, unique addition to any classroom or educational setting.
Cons
  • Potential safety hazard due to sharp edges and brittleness.

I'm sad to think it's probably fake

Unfortunately I'm inclined to believe this is a fake. It's heavy, nice and shiny but makes my hand look black and dirty. There is also a part that looks like a normal stone that just wasn't covered with paint 😞

Pros
  • SUITABLE FOR GEOLOGY TEACHING | Ideal for identification and pyritization practice
Cons
  • No automatic
