The frame of the bike seems pretty solid and the seat is the right size for a 4 to 6 year old. The bike feels a bit heavy for a small child but that's compared to my son's current aluminum frame balance bike which is a very light bike. The frame of this bike is made of steel, so it appears heavier than an aluminum bike. The bike's braking system differs from most other bikes I've seen in that it uses a drum with a belt that tightens when the handlebar brake is pulled back. three bolts to move the belt closer or further away from the drum. I only gave the bike 4 stars due to the build quality of the manufacturer and the slightly heavy bike. Both front and rear tires are directional tires with no rotating direction marking anywhere the user manual or the video on the USB showed how to mount the side stand on the bike The videos and instructions show how to mount the pedal etc. but there was nothing on the side stand. .The front wheel in the fourth picture shows that the axle was off center and was slightly to the right (note the number of turns on the right side of the wheel compared to the left side. The spokes on the wheels were not from the Manufacturer tuned very well and there was some wobble (the wheel bounces up and down slightly, not almost in a circle.) The brake had to be adjusted to get a good hook up as the cable was too slack when the manufacturer tuned the bike do it yourself or send it to the shop the bike itself is good The paint job and machined rims give the bike a trendy look and the rubber handlebar pads feel nice It comes with a small pump and set of training wheels and was packaged fairly well with a large amount of foam wrapped around the bike parts so it survived shipping without a trace s or damage.
