When I read the reviews on this wallet I was hoping for the best, without high expectations. In a world where every store you walk into requires a loyalty card for its best prices, though, my old wallet wasn't cutting it any more.This wallet comes with 21 card pockets, plus a zipper compartment and a second snap section for bills, cell phone, etc. I could easily use this as a clutch purse, and like that it maintains a surprisingly slim line. There are two ID slots where there's a kind of mesh overlay instead of clear plastic, which I don't love, but it's a minor quibble. It's also a little challenging to et your ID out of the mesh pockets, but I assume that will get easier when the wallet isn't quite as new. The other card pockets fit a standard credit card without forcing.Other people stated in reviews that they don't believe this wallet is real leather,. I beg to differ. There are visible points, such as inside the zipper compartment and inside a snap compartment, where the unfinished interior leather is obvious. The leather is stiff and it has a shiny dyed finish, but it IS leather. There is visible stitching outside the wallet, as shown in the photos, and the stitching appears to be solid and evenly-spaced on the one I received. The color is rich and even. One other quibble - I ordered purple, but the color is nearer burgundy than purple. While it's not a big concern to me, if color is a major issue for you, it's something to take into account before ordering. Overall this seems like a decent quality piece, without being too heavy or bulky. I love it!
